JERSEY CITY – Over a dozen local artists were able to make the city their canvas Saturday afternoon. Green Villain, VYV Apartments, and Writer’s Bench teamed up and hosted a massive block party for the community at 474 Warren St. The event featured art, music, and food that lasted from noon until 6 p.m. Fifteen artists painted their own 8-by-25 foot mural while the younger creatives took their talents to the road as they drew with colored chalk. Artists included Skeme, Stash, Wane, Nbel, Yoder, Mustart, Curve, SP One, Host18, Queen Andrea, Rath, Mecro, Mone, 4Sakn, and Wen. Live DJs Truestills, Big Jack, DJ ACL, Lurch, Tab Jones, Zeni Carpuzi, and Cloy were present at the party, spinning their music for the artists and attendees.
